Sales of cigarettes in public places will be banned from 1st May 2011 in China.
From that date,it would not be possible to buy 'ciggies' from restaurants,bars,on the buses,etc.This new policy is to help cut down death rates from cigarette-smoking related deaths in China.
At the moment,one of every three persons who lights up around the world is a Chinese and a whopping ONE MILLION Chinese die :confused1annually from this 'puffing' addiction!
No punishment has yet been stipulated for anyone caught breaking the new law.
